A model and former Big Brother contestant posted
pictures of herself on a luxury Caribbean holiday when she was meant to be standing in
 the dock.

Sara McLean appeared to be in Trinidad when she was due in court accused of sending “menacing”
 messages to another woman.

A warrant was issued for her arrest following her no-show nine days ago, the Sunday Mail reports.

McLean, 24, who last year revealed she was dating Everton and USA
goalkeeper Tim Howard, has posted a string of holiday snaps from the Caribbean on Twitter.

They show her enjoying a sunshine break with best friend Jamey Bowers, a former Miss Scotland who has dated West Indies cricket legend Brian Lara.

McLean – who made it to the final of Big Brother in 2012 – arrived in Trinidad on February 12, the day before she was due in court the Mail reports.

The following day, as she was due in the dock, she posted a picture of herself with Bowers with the
 caption: “Myself and my little
 lamb chop.”

She added a further photo last week showing her having a pina colada with a friend.

She faces being arrested on her return to the UK after failing to appear at court.

McLean was due at Edinburgh’s Justice of the Peace Court where she faces one charge under the
 Communications Act 2003.

Prosecutors allege on July 2, 2013, at Lanark Road West, Edinburgh, McLean used an “electronic
communications network” to send messages that were “grossly
offensive” or were of “an indecent, obscene or menacing character” to another woman.

Prosecutors claim she uttered threats of violence to the woman, whose address was given in court as care of Police Scotland.

The address given for McLean in court papers is understood to be her family home in Newington.

McLean – who was a Miss Great Britain runner-up in 2010 and finished second in Miss Scotland in 2011– began a job as an investment banker in London last summer.

Last year, she told how she was dating £1.5 million-a-year keeper Tim, 35,
 after they met in Manchester.

McLean, who studied marketing at Edinburgh’s Napier University, finished fourth
in Big Brother 13 on Channel 5
 in 2012.
